    I would recommend the Super Shelter from Hennessy. It may cost a little more than you want to spend but you can leave it on the hammock, and if you put the tarp in the snake skins the SS and hammock will fit in the bag with a little persuasion. A little faster set up. I then put the tarp in the SS bag. I think the SS will serve the purpose well. just a thought.

    I just took rooks $100 pad and ran with it Tell you the truth, I've never bought a pad for the hammock so I've no idea what is out there or how much they cost. UQ all the way for me.

    I think a pads good for those temps. I use a wallyworld blue foam one. But as the temp approaches 50° I like a second pad perpendicular to the first so that my shoulders have padding. Right now im using an exercise mat piece because its thinner. If money wasn't an issue, id be getting an underquilt tho.
