Is polypro shock cord the way to go? OWF has the option between nylon and polypro.

I have been using the 1/8 and 3/32" nylon shock cord from OWF for a long time. But, I was curious and ordered both, nylon & polypro, in 1/8" with my last order. There is no comparison! The nylon is MUCH stronger than the poly.

The poly is about 10% lighter weight than the nylon, but at the expense of nearly half the strength.

The nylon may strech. at least that's what is said about nylon straps.

Isn't shock cord supposed to stretch?
