    Gargoyle's New Diamond Tarp

I like the looks of the diamond tarps, so I did some studying and took a close inspection of Canoebie's tarp at the MI Hang.
    Ridgeline is 10'-6", and roughly a 10x10 diamond/square.

In a few of the pics, I used the points of the tarp to tie out the hammock body.

    Thanks gents.
The new diamond weighs in at 24.0 oz., including all guylines and small carabiners.
Hammock and suspension, including tree straps and dutch clips are 23.4 oz.
I can lighten the tarp some with zing it..but you gotta use what ya got.

Kinda nice to have only two guy lines huh bro!! I love the diamond for the ease of hanging it and the openness it provides. I want to see what is around me. Now for winter I might change my mind, nah, prolly not. I still like the openness then. I slept down to 11 last year when we hung at my place, course there wasn't much wind. Still, I do value simplicity.

Good job, anxious to see it in action.
