I found some good fabric and got busy whittlin' up a new hammock.
Blatant copy of a BB with motivation coming from Tinker and Bankheadboy. (thank you gents)
Single layer, 111" long, breathable 1.9? ripstop. Side tie outs, cat cut netting. Detailed in digital camo. BB gathered, (knotty thank you) for an excellent lay, flat and spacious. I did not do a footbox, but for some reason the hammock has a more distinguished footbox area? I think because I added an extra piece of digital rip to the zipper side? I don't know for sure, but its a dandy!
Full length 100" zipper, ridgeline bag, cute little micro light. Dynaglide whoopies (thanks Opie). Salvaged mosquito net from an old dome tent, hence the random seam at the foot end. Spent the last three nights sleeping in it in various stages. Comfy!
Finally finished all the details and what nots, and of course, yesterday it started to rainI had to wait a whole day to share, it was killin' me!
