Sermon at Church

Today at church, we had a non regular Pastor doing the sermon. One of his props was a backpack (caught my attention!). As the sermon went along he pulls out a water filter. Explains how it works, and how we need to filter things in our life.
Then he says he's a hammock guy, and he and his wife hang and hike.

So, after church, I invited him to the MI Hang! Says he will try to check it out. He had not heard of Hammock Forums.

I set him straight!

A friend where I used to work organized overnight hikes for his church about every month or so. He said there would be a short discussion about God how being in solitude helps connect. Sounds like your visiting pastor might be amicable to this idea. Being so close, I'd even drive over.
