I don't know if anyone would want to go that far, but the campsites at Flagstaff lake [Eustis, ME] that we used for the mystery paddle and hang are managed by a local community development group. They are not state campgrounds "per se".
You can check out the threads from the previous hangs there for the details. It's about four hours north of Boston. Plenty of services available on the way to stock up with needs.
I can set anybody up with my contact person up there, there are at least two kayaks, possibly three, and the canoe available at my friends cottage 5 miles away.

I just read an email saying that Harrold Parker is re-opening on July 1. Here's a link to the closed areas and the rules. Basically, if you want to camp, get to reserveamerica.com at 9:00 AM on Monday 6/22.
