    Quiet copse hang

Just been given permission to hang in a little private copse close by to me. Managed to climb into one of my most comfortable yet most forgotten hammocks (it's a beast in weight and girth).
Meat on sticks over the campfire and a couple of rum and cokes made for a much needed break.

What a beautiful area all covered in ivy and what a better location for meat on a stick I'd eat the dead dolphin unless it was a porpoise Otherwise I couldn't get eating Flipper out of my mind. Thanks for taking us along and for sharing your trip with us.

+1 I actually had to Google copse. See this is a learning experience.

    Lol!!

Nice video and a beautiful location. Thanks for posting it here!

And, yes, I would be willing to eat the dolphin, as long as it appeared to be fresh and not already rotting or anything.

I'm the same, if it's fresh it's getting eaten. Cracking little copse but think it'll get a bit buggy in the warmer months. Nice to have somewhere I haven't got to worry about being caught.

Yeah, it does look like it could get a bit buggy. But maybe your campfire and one or two citronella candles will hold them at bay.

I always bring a few of those when I'm car camping and I've thought about getting some of these for my UCO Candle Lantern, which I haven't carried for a long time but would be a good bit lighter for backpacking. I don't know if UCO gear is available locally in the UK or how much shipping would be if it's not, but it could be an option for buggy spots like that.

P.S. Every single time I read your remark, "That would be an entirely different vid", I literally laugh out loud again! Thanks for that!

    Nothing worse than noisy corpses.
