I am officially a go for Saturday/Sunday. I wish I could do 2 nights, but one night is better than no nights. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again- last year was a lot of fun! I'll gladly chip in for firewood as well. Just let me know how much $$ to bring. I'm curious to see if we can top last year's low of -13°.

Get lost in the woods and find yourself again. A vacation,to me, is working with your hands and surviving because of the fruits of your labor. In the business world I teach;in the natural world I learn.

This hang would only be a small detour as I take my daughter home that weekend. Would this be an event where we could pop in during the day on Saturday and see people's setups and equipment and see what hanging looks like outdoors or will the campsite being mostly deserted during the day because people are out enjoying the wilderness?

Come by and check it out. Most of us prefer to sit by the fire and just hang out.

Agree... other than stretching our legs with a walk most always someone is at camp.
Not quite a wilderness setting, but a nice enough place to step away in our backyard.

About the only conflict might be interrupting someone's afternoon session of intensive hammock testing.
Nights tend to late and mildly lubricated and most of us work too much so we appreciate the change to be lazy.
