Thank you very much
Was there a group picture this year?
We had such a great time at MAHHA! Thank for everyone making us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back. We loved PA!

We arrived from South Jersey after dark and was grateful for CoffeeMan for his help finding a couple trees to hang from. I confess it was a mistake not trying out the Double Dutch system before I got there, as it took quite a while to get set up. I only had an 11' hex tarp to set up under, but I think we made it work! Here we are tucking in for the evening.

The next day started off wet outside the tarp, but dry as a bone underneath. The little guy slept through the night using FishKillers KAQ under quilt. A hot breakfast brought a smile to my face, but Richard from Cedar Ridge Outfitters brought smiles to my son's face with his welcoming demeanor and balloon art.

Throughout the weekend we got to (briefly) catch up with familiar faces as well as meet a bunch of new people, vendors, HF members and non-members alike. My son was the epitome of "it takes a village to raise a child" as he made friends with everyone he ran across.
After lunch Saturday, he saddled up the Dutch himself and learned how to splice amsteel continuous loops!

The dinner hit the spot after a cool day, and the excitement of some incredible raffle prizes warmed everyone's spirits.
We had a great time, and enjoyed meeting and getting to know all you great people.
Thank you all for a great experience!
PS. Sorry for the crazy orientation of the photos, but they keep getting rotated when they post here and I'm running out of patience. I've rotated and reposted them in all four orientations and NONE OF THEM ARE THE RIGHT WAYYYYY You'll just have to rotate your computer, lol.
I’ve been struggling with getting the pictures to orient the correct way too...
Had a phenomenal weekend hanging out (pun intended - ) with friends (old and new), more great people, eating a lot of tasty food, and just being outside with others who like being outside too.

A big thanks to Dutch and everyone for putting together this hang, and to the vendors for their generous donations. As a result of the raffle, I’m the very lucky, proud, and especially grateful owner of a VERY special and unique Loco Libre Ghost Pepper TQ.

Talk about perfect timing - I’ve been needing a TQ but have gotten by with fleece blankets and sleeping bags so far. I used the new Ghost Pepper that Saturday night and have to say I was so very toasty I didn’t want to get out of my hammock on Sunday morning. Thank you so very much!!
I’m ready for the NOVA hang and the Jersey post-Thanksgiving hangs now!!
This was my first MAHHA and group hang. Thank you to everyone for all the hard work both in planning and execution. What an incredible group of people! My daughter and I had an awesome time.
Big thank you to Richard from Cedar Ridge Outdoors, you made my daughters weekend and probably converted her to the hammock way of life forever.

Thanks to the organizers and vendors! And thanks to everyone for making us feel welcome at our first group hang! We had a great time, and it was fun to meet everyone!
We did find a camo tree strap and cinch bug left on a tree. Let me know if it's yours, and we can see how to get it to you. It was at the campsite right at the group camping entrance.
Dutch, you make that "Match Made in Heaven" look heavenly indeed...
And to this feller (whom I assume is the lucky winner),
Congratulations!
You have one of 7 DynaFlys in existence and the next 6 won't be made until I set up my new shop around the end of November. Currently, the only other DynaFly owners are myself, Dutch, Shug, and Derek Hansen. Flash Gundelore has been representing proudly and I can't thank him enough. However, we agreed over the phone just before MAHHA that a pay-it-forward situation was in store for DynaFly #1 (until I can get him one of his own of course). Curly Maple was recommended as a viable candidate for next in line.
Anyways, I digress. Please know that she is still in the testing/trial phase and I'm continually learning: things that could be improved, configurations not yet fully explored, and environments still to be tested. Feel free to PM me with any feedback, questions or concerns you may have. You've received one of my babies. I'll always be looking out to make sure she's getting along with others.
Dutchette,
It was my pleasure to contribute. It was the least I could give back for the vast amount I have gained from this hammock community at large.
