Glad to hear of another happy SLD customer. I have really been impressed with the quality and workmanship of Jared's offerings. Love my Trail Lair too!

Love the colors, but main thing: no calf ridge, and without having to jump through a bunch of hoops to get there? Sweet!

What is going on with the UQ attachments? Are those snaps?

Underquilt is a "no sew" home made Gemini. Used the design by Levoia (sp). The snaps are used to create the grosgrain loops that the shock cord goes through. The Gemini has performed amazingly well. I used it last winter with 3 layers - a modification to the design that I came up with - down to 17 degrees and could have taken it colder; then I used it with two layers in Maine in September where it ranged from 40 degrees to 70 degrees. At 40 degrees I was perfectly warm with the 2 layers and could have gone colder. At 70 degrees I just vented it way down and was comfortable. I could have taken the second layer off during the hot nights, but venting was easier and worked fine.
