Came back from a tough week of work to find my new Trail Lair with Wind Shield waiting for me. Went with Hexon 1.6 wide single layer forest green with Purple Argon 90 wind shield. This is everything I was hoping for and more. Spent a great night in it last night despite the rain.

The color combo is striking and I really like the wind shield. Rained most of the night last night and was in the low 40's. Zero condensation inside or outside. Had the wind shield in full cover mode. During the day you can see how the light comes through the purple. Makes a really nice atmosphere for an afternoon nap! If you get a wind shield or top cover out of Argon 90 it really lets light through nicely. Think about the "ambience" you want inside your hammock. Mine is like having a nice soothing purple light on! Really love it.

Of course the service, workmanship and helpfulness of Jared was top notch all the way through. Inside, I got the peak shelves. Had a flannel shirt and hat in the head end and was able to get my whole top quilt nicely stored in the foot end until it got cold enough to use it. I started with a Sea to Summit Fleece liner.

Also got the wall shelf which turned out great for holding eyeglasses, phone etc. And finally, I added the Sunset Saddle Bags for outside storage.

The Trail Lair wide turned out to be a great choice for me. Didn't have to fuss hardly at all to get a setup that gave me a very flat lay with no calf ridge. This is something that I really had to work at with my old setup. Here are some pics of the setup with and without my Gemini Underquilt and some inside shots.

Cannot recommend SLD highly enough!!! Thank you Jared!
