Video: 8 days, 4 canoes, 4 lake trout in the Boundary Waters

As promised, here's the video from this year's canoe trip into the BWCAW. 4 guys shared 2 tents, 4 guys were in hammocks, evenly split between HH and WBBB. Having half the campers in hammocks allowed us to fit into one campsite, as most just have two tent pads. Amazing how much better use of space you can make when you have hangers!! Enjoy, Kurt.

Great video, outstanding job on the editing, the map graphics were very cool. Looks like a real fun crew. Aye, unfortunately the best fishing days are the rainy ones. Much respect on the camp discipline, food contained while out of camp, fish debris across the lake etc. Gorgeous boat too, the skin/frame. What's the weight on that beauty?

Very successful fishing! I'm not a very good fisherman sadly...I sure would love to catch some that nice. The Canoes are amazing!

Thanks for the positive feedback on the editing, etc. Much appreciated. The weight is about 35 lbs.
They changed the regs on disposing of fish debris this year - you are supposed to spread it around in the woods. Sounds like a great invite for bears! We decided paddling them across the bay was a lot safer, and gave us a great chance to see the eagles.

I don't fish, I'm the "trolling motor" in our canoe. Not worth it for me to get an out-of-state license for that one week, haul gear from Arizona on an airplane, etc. It's enough fun for me to just be a part of the team and maybe do some of the cooking - I pan-fried the fish we caught on our last fishing day.

    Thanks everyone!
