NB: If you do not regularly interface with the BBB, leaving a review is insufficient. When you submit your review, you will receive an e-mail (which may wind up in your spam folder) requiring you to follow a link back to the BBB, go through a less-than-streamlined verification process, and set up a personal BBB account. If you do not complete these actions, your submission will not be verified. I still did this, even though it was annoying, because Dutch earns that level of loyalty from us all every day.

What a joke! You think they would wait for a decent amount of reviews before throwing a D+ out there for the world to see.

The concern I have now is the flood of us leaving positive reviews. While our intentions are good, the BBB could see this as review loading...too many in a short period of time. I don't know about the BBB, but that's a big NO-NO with Google.

My thoughts exactly— luckily these days hardly anyone goes to the BBB for reviews, most people use google. BBB was stuck on the third page of my google search for dutchware gear reviews.

They must be in the business of negative reviews / complaints, because I STILL don’t see any of our positive glowing reviews posted yet on that website.

I'm guessing there's a manual approval process. Again, we could be doing more harm than good by blowing it up with all positive reviews. Since 6/14/17 there were 0 reviews and 1 complain. Now in just the past 24 hours we sent in at least 13 5-star reviews. I know they're legit, but both a computer and a human will see a big red flag.

The BBB is a for profit business and if you're a business that doesn't sign up and pay them, you start at the bottom as shown with their rating for Dutchware with one complaint. They open up a case on the business and don't consider any other reviews from the company website or any other source unless the business pays for a listing with them.

I personally don't put any stock into their reviews or "grades".

Good on you, Dutch, for putting a complaint about them to them. Funny stuff right there.
