Hanging on the Colorado Trail?

Looking at hiking the entirety or just action hiking the Colorado Trail. I was curious if anyways has used a hammock for the trail? It appears to have tons of trees, but I was wondering about longer alpine sections where hanging isn’t possible.

What are your experiences?

Also, anyone want to hike?

The San Juan’s are burning. Last 2 or 3 southern sections are closed

They hung every night but 1 (maybe 2) nights on the trail. The CT is def on my bucket list......

Have a friend currently on the CT. Fire closures still in effect. He's holding in Breck atm. He isn't hanging but his friend is and reflects the same availability as above (all but one or two nights.) Once above treeline and another for other reasons.

UPDATE ~ My buddy just hit me back and confirms entire CT now back open, and he's on the move a bit south of Monarch Pass. Strict Fire Bans in effect, of course.
