Hi All-
I am exploring options how to best set up the guylines on the warbonnet mamajamba tarp with my blackbird hammock. I saw a video or post here on the forums last week that I simply cannot seem to find again despite my searching so maybe someone can help.
Basically what I want to accomplish is guylines permanently tied to the tarp with the adjustable side of the guyline set up to be on the tarp edge, not at the stake in the ground. New tarp is silpoly so sagging in rain shouldn't be as much but still- I like the idea of being able to adjust tension from under the tarp vs having to run out to the stakes to readjust tension which means I have to get out in the rain. So....
I saw someone who posted something here where instead of linelocs they attached permanent small prusiks to the D rings and then ran their guyline through that prusik and then guyline to the stake. To adjust tension, slide guyline up or down on that prusik which was a separate piece of cordage than the guyline.
Anyone know what I am talking about on this type of set up?
Alternatively....looking for ideas that are simple, lightweight, and can be left tied to the tarp D rings to have adjustable guylines with the adjustment side attached to the tarp not at the stake.
