Hexon 1.0 vs Argon 1.6 for Chameleon

Going to order a Chameleon but need to decide on fabric. I'm 6-0, 185-190 lbs.

I saw the Schill brothers video on sag between the 1.6 Hexon and the 1.0 Hexon, and also read their comments about side sleeping comfort in the 1.0. I thought that was quite interesting and want to try one of the stretchier fabrics.

From what I've read, it seems as if the Argon 1.6 will offer more strength than the 1.0 Hex, but similar stretch (or at least more stretch than the Hex 1.6). Is this accurate?

Any other advice or opinions would be welcome....Thanks!

    6'1"+, 185lbs here.

Slept in the backyard last night in my DIY Hexon 1.0 and I love it! If you are willing to treat UL fabrics, like Hexon 1.0, like UL anything should be treated, then I recommend the Hexon 1.0.

Have taken it on several trips and am very happy. Nothing wrong w/Argon, however. Just tipping my hat to Hexon!

When you come out of the gates spouting your height and weight you always avoid this question:

You are a perfect candidate for the ARGON 1.6 which built for extreme comfort. It is sturdy has I think the perfect amount of stretch. But the feel of the fabric is where it shines. It is the most non plastic nylon I have ever felt. not only is it good against the skin but also it prevents sliding because it is the opposite of slick. If UL is your game and you can treat gear like it is UL gear then go with the Hexon 1.0.

    Thanks for all the responses!

Question for Dutch...I read a thread on Reddit where it was mentioned the Argon 1.6 had even more stretch than the Hexon 1.0. Is this true?

I would say there is slightly less stretch in ARGON 1.6 but it would be close.

I know this is a significantly delayed post, but did you end up purchasing the Argon 1.6 Chameleon from Dutch? I'm in a similar situation as you, 6-0 and 230 lbs, and currently own a hexon 1.6 chameleon. Very comfy, but a little too stiff for me to side sleep well. I was looking into purchasing an argon 1.6 to try and side sleep better and looking for any experience from others in this fabric.
