I know that most tent manufacturers recommend NOT storing their tents in the provided stuff sack; many suggest loosely rolling them up an storing an a mesh or breathable material bag between uses. I think it's mostly to allow for any residual moisture to get out and not damage the materials.
Since hammocks are made from similar materials, so does the same advice apply? Or, assuming it's dry, is it safe to just keep it in the stuff sack?
