New hammock HELP

Looking to buy my first hammock but want some I don't need to upgrade I'm in UK but don't think can get custom made ones here so it's sld or dm I want it 70" wide double layer would hexon 1.6w end up 70" finished then I need suspension can anyone help me out please on fabric to pick

Welcome to the forum. Check out Marty at Wilderness Logics. He just made me a custom hammock, top quit and under quilt. They do great work. Hi Kraig. In order to help you we need to know your weight and maybe height in order to help choose a fabric. Your weigh really makes a difference on the material of choice. What I did was to contact Jared at SLD and give him both my wife's and mine info (yep she had something to say about that lol) and he was able to give me a few options based upon the desired or expected stretch characteristics of the different fabrics. He also suggested the 11' length for us. Also, if your going for a double hammock and want to save weight then that will affect your decision. I tried to locate the email that I had from Jared about finished width's on his regular and wide Hexon materials but can't find it. I suggest that you give Jared a shout and simply ask him what might be your best options and about the finished width.
