    Well if permethrin is an option then killing them is an option. Treat the yard and be done with it. Cheap solution here. https://store.doyourownpestcontrol.c...2l-insecticide

    As SilvrSurfr said, permethrin on a tarp is a no go for many reasons.
    I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.

    I never had a problem with ants but I always spray the bottom of the hammock with Permethtrin. If a few mosquitoes die, all the better.
