Careful Whet Newdell, I think Niagara's lining up a squatters rights claim on your property. If someone tries to serve you with papers in the next few weeks, run!

Thanks. Unfortunately the weather was so dang beautiful that we didn't really get any epic sunsets. Most nights whatever pale colour there was hung low in the clouds behind us.

The series I took on top of the rock behind Whet Newdell's place have blackfly specks all over the lens. Grrr. I'm trying to salvage something from them.

Keep the pictures coming! I will live vicariously through your experiences. Healing up but slower than I'd like but healing non the less. I'm beyond itchin to get out in the piney woods. Can't wait to see Joel's place.
Hopefully I will continue healing up and rehab enough to do the week long trip in the fall. I am even eyeing up an ultra light canoe so I can join in on those Portage trips. I may actually elevate above marshmallow status.
Hanging in the woods, paddlin and catching trout- My kind of living...

Depending on work , I might be interested in spending a little more time on the Bay. The challenge is finding a route/location that would be good for both weekenders and those staying longer. If we head out from Hartley Bay Marina, then we have pretty much the entire coast open to explore.

I have no idea if there'll be enough suitable trees for a large group, but I'll likely be bringing a small solo tent and Thermarest just in case. What the heck, I don't think we'll have much portaging!
