    Rio Grande National Forest, Colorado

Does anyone have anything they could share about this area. We have a trip later this year and are seriously considering this as our destination. Interested in hammock camping, hiking, fishing, relaxing!

Its a big forest. Did you have any specific towns or trails you were interested in? How high up did you want to hike/hang? Fishing?

My wife and me have only been down there once and we did what I listed above. That trail is one of the Best in the Area.
So I am really no expert on what's down there.

You might also consider the Colorado Trail it runs the this forest a long way. Hitting a TH and hiking in to wild hang would be something fun.
Maybe someone who has hiked that section of the trail will offer a suggestion.
