Welcome aboard from Lakeland. We could be just what you're looking for. The next hang is scheduled for Dec. 15-17 in the Upper Hillsborough Preserve. Trip planning can be found in the trip planning forum in the southeast section.Then there will be another close to the new years. i see you have already planned for the HangCon. Mid Feb. we will be doing the annual Sherpa Hang at Creekside site in the Arbuckle tract of the Lake Wales Ridge SF.April will see other hikes in Green Swamp. We are an eclectric group from all points of Florida.

Welcome to a wonderful Florida group of hangers.

There certainly is a bunch of hangs usually in Central Florida and a few "up North" and some of the best "down South". We get folks from GA as well at some of the hangs.

And I agree that you should check out HangCon 2018. This is different than most Florida hangs since it brings folks from most of Eastern Seaboard states expanding West into TX and OK up to MI.
