Black Mtn to Brady Mtn TN

    Dates: November 16 - 19, 2017

    Greetings fellow hammockers,

I think I'm becoming known as the CT guy because I am slowly making my way through its trail segments. In this adventure, there were some tactical mistakes that caused some issues. Mostly from my last minute changes in gear! I should've stuck with what i had!

But here's another segment of the CT explored and boy what views it has!

    Thanks for watching,

    Stan

Thank you for posting. On the CT, can you set up camp anywhere or do you have to have a designated spot beforehand?

    Stan,
You need to make a checklist and keep that thing in your gear box. Downing that tree by hand was well impressive. I didn't know you had that much Pachamamma in you Holler at me next time you go to check out the Cumberland Trail and need a hiking partner. Good job on the video and those sure were some nice views. Thanks for taking us along.

Officially you are supposed to use their camp site. Unofficially, as long as you choose the right location (not on top of an endangered plant, etc.) and leave no trace it's no problem. There are lots of unofficial sites out there.

Good advice. First time to screw things up like that! I'll give you a holla about the next one!
