Looks like a January date it will be. Count me in, schedule permitting, I’ll be there. Hopefully more folks will be able to attend post the holidays.
Weekends in January that have better odds for me are the 13th and the 27th. FYI. I've made my new 10'x 64" Robic 1.6 hammock. Put cam snaps on another down throw so I can double up my UQ. Modded a cheep 11' double wide so it can be used as a winter cover kinda Fronkey style. So if I can actually come down and hang I will have gear to help me with the cold. Of course I hope to test some of this down in South Carolina right after Christmas. I've almost completed all my winter projects. LOL

Thanks for understanding guys. I know everyone was proly packed and ready to hit the trail, know I was. If you guys wanna do it next month and dont mind it being colder then I'm all for it. I know I dont mind and can use the help whenever the help is available. So let's keep the thread going then and just work on another date. And BTW, the flock came back in force last night, at least 200 of them, and are camped right out in front of my house all the way down to the big beach where we were gonna be tonight. Talk about loud! Lol

No problem. Hopefully by then I’ll have another HG under quilt (already on order) to stack with my current zero. In combination that should take me as cold as I need in January!

Looks like it was just as well that I wasn’t cleared for this.
Jan is filling up fast, though. I’m not sure I have any weekends left.
I sew things on youtube.
I don’t sew on commission, so please don’t ask. Thanks.
I don't know if you're still looking for people or not, but I'd be willing to spend a Sunday helping to clean the trail, although I honestly don't know what I'm getting myself into
