Likewise brother, I'm glad you decided to come up. And like I said, open invitation. Anytime you wanna drop a line or hike more of the trail just let me know. The section that goes into and through Elk Neck state forest is beautiful, plus down in the state park itself there's several more miles of interconnected trail and the lighthouse trail down at the very end. Going back over the Susquehanna the MD-T goes right through Susquehanna state park and is right along the river for several miles. I hang year round so as long as you have enough insulation I'm game. I can't wait to use the new -10° set so you know me, the colder the better ! Lol. I went down and got the RL and did a second check to make sure we got all the trash and gear. But yeah, I had a great time.... Weather was perfect, the hike was great, my rig was dialed in so I slept great, had good conversation around the non-campfire at night lol and breakfast from the hammock watching the sun come up over the water and mist was awesome as usual , does it get any better? Coulda been cooler temps and less condensation issues at night , but it can't complain lol. Any time, just let me know.

you notice any of the homeless camps on the mason dixon in Elk Neck Forest? Behind the graveyard in North East. If they can camp out in the Elk Forest, we should be able to stealth hang over nighter!?, but i wouldnt condone that on a public forum.
I so need to visit Chesapeake......even for a quick over nighter
When the wife asks, I simply say "Shug made me do it".
He would love the company. The pictures don't do it justice.
