Odds & End Sale- Scout specs??

On the Hennessy Odds & Ends Sale the Scout model specs list the hammock size as 100" x 48". Is that a misprint? That can't be right and doesn't match when you click on the specs for the full price Scout (114" x 59"). I emailed Hennessy a question on this. Any thoughts?

Just got answer emailed back from Hennessy. The 100" length is actually the length of the ridgeline. The Scout hammock is 114" long.

Thanks for the info, I had ordered two of the Scout Classics from the Odds & Ends Sale for my sons for a Christmas gift. The slightly discolored but new ones for $49 each. Seems like a screaming deal.

At 114" long, they're longer than my el cheapo hammocks I bought off of Woot! until I can save up for a nicer one for myself.

The Scout hammock has arrived! I have used a Hennessy Ultralite Explorer for two years and a friend who I camp with tried an inexpensive open hammock this summer and liked it. He bought a Hennessy Ultralight on the October sale and he has a son who camps with us so I picked up a Scout also on Hennessy's October sale. His son will use the Scout hammock and then perhaps one day I may sell it or loan it out to someone else. I set it up today and it is made from strong fabric. I got in it and could even stretch my legs all the way out but as I am 6'1" it is too short for me. Still was fun to try out. Good quality. It was a demo but looks brand new, like it was never even set up and still had the tag attached. For $49 it is a good deal if you like Hennessy hammocks.
