I believe these guys have switched to late season weekend-only schedule, but I enjoy Tulley Lake Campground in Royalston, MA.
Only 33 sites, no cars at sites, carry in from parking lot, kayak rentals, hiking trails. Large sites with trees, well spaced from neighbors. Campground map has photos if you are particular about your trees (and views).
Yes.
If you want more specifics please tell us a little more. Mass and NH encompass 20,000 square miles: how far are you willing to drive? Are campgrounds OK? Car camping preferred? Do you backpack? Are you in shape to climb mountains?
Tully Lake is weekends-only and clses 10/22. Overnight shelters are available in many Mass State Forests: Douglas, Mount Grace, Monroe to name a few. Shelters are also available along the Midstate Trail and Appalachian Trail. North of the Tully Lake campground there is a shelter on the Tully Trail in Royalston which is a 22 mile loop around the lake and connects to the Midstate. Dispersed camping is available throughout the White Mountain National Forest. Have hung in many places.

Men hang out their signs indicative of their respective trades; shoe makers hang out a gigantic shoe; jewelers a monster watch, and the dentist hangs out a gold tooth; but up in the Mountains of New Hampshire, God Almighty has hung out a sign to show that there He makes men.

Wow. I wasn't expecting any responses. Thank you
I want to go on a few overnights. On the weekends. I live next to Fall River ma. I'm willing to travel up to five hours of driving. I was hoping to go on a few hikes for the overnights. I did the 22 mile loop at Tully. Loved it. I failed also at it. Got lost ended up with five extra miles. So if anyone wants to go with me. I don't mind. I'd take it as s learning experience. This is my first year with the hammock. I've done a few good overnight hikes. Some on the Appalachian trail in the Berkshires. Ok thanks.
