Thanks to all who came out. It was certainly the perfect weather for a perfect crowd. Enjoyed getting to visit with everyone and hope that all will join us at our Spring Hang - 2nd Annual Blackjack Crawfish Hang. We cooked enough crawfish for all to fill up (not just get a taste) and all the fixins at the last one. That will be our plan for the next one I am sure. If you took any photos please post them here or on the Mississippi Hammock Camping facebook page. I CANT BELIEVE we did not get a group photo!!!! Thanks again for all of you who came out, I had a blast!

A big Thank You to all the Mississippi folks for your hospitality. I had a great time at this hang and I hope I can make it to the spring hang.

For those that didn't get a copy of that corn bread recipe, here you go.
2 boxes Jiffy cornbread mix
½ cup chopped jalapeños
½ cup chopped onions
1 can cream corn (14oz)
1 lb. sausage (cooked)
1 cup shredded cheese (your choice)
Fry sausage first to have ready
Prepare cornbread by box directions
Mix everything together BUT only use half the cheese
Pour into a 12in. Dutch oven or a 13 X 9 pan
Spread remaining cheese on top
Use 9 coals on bottom 17 on top, or
Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes (give or take)
