    Quest Tarp and Xenon Hex

    Hi There,
Wondering what is the difference between the Hammock Gear Quest and the Dutchware gear Xenon Hex sold by Dutch.
Looks almost the same to me, even the specs are very close.
What is the advantage of one vs the other?

Can we purchase it with all the Dutch bling ready to go (Stingerz mounted on lash-it ....) assuming we purchase it on the HG website?

Last time I looked, the width was a little different, and the Quest was on sale at HG for $20 off. Dutchware and HG apparently jointly worked on bringing the material to market... long story short they seem pretty close to me too and I'd love to hear if anyone has better info than that.

I don't have an answer, but they sure look like the same tarp to me.
I got the Quest at Trail Days this year for $75 and have had it hung in my yard for over a month now. No complaints whatsoever.

Looks good. Zing it for the ridgeline. What are you using for the tieouts? Litesmith? If so, are you using any bling?

Yes, Litesmith 1.1 Reflx on the tieouts. No bling, just 2mm shock cord loops larksheaded to the tarp and pile hitch the 1.1 line around my stakes. Pull tight and stake it out.

    Good afternoon Minos,
The specifications are the same for both tarps. At this time we do not have any spliced Dutch Bling, but you can purchase the components off our website. Conversely, you could purchase the spliced bling from Dutch. Please let me know if you have any additional questions here, or shoot me an email at [email protected]

    Thanks,

I opted for the Quest Tarp because it was offered in a 12' ridgeline. I have not been disappointed
