Thermo-Rest or Klymit pad between layers for HH Deep Jungle zip?

I just used my new Deep Jungle Zip and LOVE IT.
I used the Bubble pad since the night got below 50, but can see a better insulator will be needed if temp goes below that.
Instead of carrying a under quilt, has anyone used a Thermo-rest or Klymit pad (Slightly under inflated) between bottom layers of this hammock?

Or should I just conclude that under quilt is the best way to go and plan on the extra weight for colder weather camping.

Pads work for some but for me I would highly recommend an under quilt if the budget allows for it.

my Therma•A•Rest pad is most comfy under inflated. I don't find pads uncomfortable, but an UQ alone is more comfortable than a pad.

I have a fantastic zero degree UQ from Little Shop of Hammocks but still use my thermorest occasionally, usually when just car camping. I've been OK with it down to -4 C (25 F) & it's very comfortable. Really the only reason I upgraded to an UQ is weight / bulk savings when canoe trips ... but I agree a proper UQ is the ultimate if affordable.
