OH Hammock sites for a sales guy :)

Hello. I've been lurking here a bit, but I wonder if anyone has suggestions for me. I'm a sales-type, and I cover the southern 2/3 of OH. Rather than hotels, I've been camping with my hammock, but only in the few places I know I can hang. I'm looking for more suggestions.

This is usually mid-week. Home is Sunbury (Delaware Co.). Looking for recommendations around Dayton, Cincinnati, Portsmouth, Parkersburg, Gallipolis, Jackson, Hillsboro, Maysville (KY).

I love the idea of just having my hammock, quilt, and tarp in the car and saving myself some commuting time all at once. I really love the idea of a shower before my first sales call after camping too

    Thanks in advance.

So, are you looking for places to hang overnight where you can also get a shower? Does it need to be free/24-hour access/free electricity/any other requirements?

The state parks are all basically pay to reserve, with a few walk-ups in reserve. Here in Hamilton county, the county parks are $10 for the year, but only a few allow overnight camping. The municipal parks are typically closed between dusk and dawn and no overnight is allowed.
    Thanks,

Thanks Rancor. Shower is important, as I am doing this to be closer to my first appointment the next day. Doesn't need to be free, doesn't need to have electric, and doesn't need 24hr access. It does need drive (close) access. I can't hike 10 mi in, but I could hike 2-3 in/out. Fire not required, and rarely done. Just me, hammock, a stove and packit gourmet.

I have stayed in Hueston Woods, a private campground in Chillicothe that I can't remember the name of, and Hocking Hills State Park. I especially like the state parks, and would gladly reserve anytime possible, but I don't have the time to pore over maps and satellite images while on the road to determine if the site is suitable for hanging.

I guess, like a lot of people, I'm looking for recommendations of specific sites in parks that are workable. They don't have to be spectacular.

Thanks for your time and effort.

I'm from KY, but I seem to remember a campground at or near Snake Mounds which is West of Cinci. Sorry I just passed by it once or twice many years ago and have no idea of their accommodations.

It's a bit north of Cincinnati but near Lebanon close to FT Ancient is Morgan Canoe Livery. They have a nice campground with plenty of places to hang.
They have a restroom and Hot showers available.

If it helps, I camped out there with my daughter a few weeks ago. Lot #17 worked well for 2 hammocks. I liked the grounds and they do serve food. They will also provide firewood for the camp fire.
