    Rosefeather down on Amazon

Rolloff clued me in to the down from Rosefeathers and I got it yesterday so thought I would share my impressions. I'm sure this has been discussed but due to conflicting reviews on Amazon thought I would post. I ordered 100% 450 g of 850 fp white goose down. The weight was correct and I found no feathers, but a very small scattering of grey down. No odor whatsoever. It was packed tightly in a small cotton pillow, sewn shut. As for fill power don't know but is very fluffly down for what that's worth. $36 for the pound free shipping prime. Arrived in two days. Thanks Rolloff.

Ordered some of the same down from Rosefeather off Amazon last fall to overstuff a CDT underquilt, but ordered the 200g lot.

appeared to be good quality, no feathers and no smell.

I've used their down to make three quilts now, it's all been good stuff, I've been very happy with them. Also if anybody's concerned I've contacted them and they do not live pluck.

By all means, let's argue about whether or not a hammock will hurt a tree. All the while ignoring the fact that there is an island of garbage the size of Texas floating in the Pacific ocean. Or how about the fact that over 75% of the world's nuclear reactors are leaking...

I can confirm that the down is indeed good quality, has little to no odor, and consists of nearly all white down. There are a very minor amount of small feathers and grey down.

The package arrived in a sewn shut small pillowcase. The down, including pillowcase, weighed in at 474g.

The pillow case is bursting at the seams and as soon as you open it, down starts flying.

Like Charliev, I can't verify that this is 850+ fill power, but it is VERY fluffy.

For 36$ I have just gotten enough down to create several projects. Great deal. Thanks for the tip.
