Thank you for the generous compliments, guys. The second tarp will also be undergoing an overnight test in a couple of weeks. Fingers crossed...

Thanks, BgTJ01. Now that I know what the OI sil-poly is like to work with, I am anxiously awaiting Kyle's launch of on-demand RBTR sil-poly with all the new patterns available -- including some of mine. I really want to try some different tarp concepts out using printed waterproof fabric!

Underground Quilts will also make you a Hanger series or Winter Dream tarp from "Tiger Stripes" if you contact them for a custom order; mine was the Bengal color variant, but there are several other colors from which to choose.

Finished weight was a very attractive 13 ounces on the nose. Eliminating the reinforcement patches at the corner knocked somewhere between one and two hours off of the build time (part of which involved the time-consuming encased roll hem on the original tarp).
I'm planning a tarp build, and I keep finding myself coming back to this tarp! Besides the fact that it's a work of art that I just enjoy checking out, I'm really liking the grosgrain edges and thinking of doing that for my main 3-season tarp. No corner reinforcements... how are the corners holding up? Do you happen to have a photo that shows how the tie-outs are attached to the non-reinforced corners?
