MI > Pictured Rocks NCT August???

I'm considering a trip up to hike the NCT section along pictured rocks from Grand Sable to Munising this year but not sure I want to do it solo. Anybody else interested in going up and doing this?

Im interested. Are you thinking 3-4 days? I think that's about 40 miles. Let me know if/when this trip firms up.

I'm busy weekend of the 19th but any week before or after that works for me

I'm really in the early stages of planning, but I was thinking mid/late August so maybe August 11-14. Head up and hit the trails early Friday afternoon then finish up on Monday sometime. That should give plenty of time to finish the 42 miles of trail.

Looks like the dates won't work for me. I just scheduled an annual girlfriends camping weekend at Starved Rock the 11- 13 and I'm volunteering for the Ice Age Trail mobile skills crew Aug 26th. It's all good though. It was a long shot I would have been able to make it anyway. Is it too early for 2018 planning?

No worries. It's never too early to start planning for next year either.
