I live in Texas and have a 20 degree incubator (which incidentally I think I've never used in Texas) and a 40 degree phoenix. In the fall/winter of Texas I've needed the Phoenix and try to bring it just in case when it's warmer. It weighs so little IMO it's better to have and hang loose if not needed than to be cold. With 40 degree phoenix econs going for $89.95 you have no excuse.

If I could find a Phoenix at that price I would definitely do it. However, factory they are $159 and I never see them used on sale

I think you're missing the Econ part. The Phoenix Econ is indeed being sold for $89.95.

Summer and camping are never in the same sentence with me...not even in the same universe. Heat, humidity and mosquitoes (who love me) make it pure hell. I'm going to give it another try this year though, and I'll have a lake nearby. Well, starting June 9 so almost summer. I'll be using my 30° since that's the coolest quilt I have.

Enjoy the 40 Phoenix...nice deal on that Econ!

I guess I am a glutton for punishment. I camp in any weather. So far the 2 extremes have been 110/day and 95/night for summer, and 30/Day and 20/night. Summer camping is much harder, but I primitive camp away from people so the amount of close I have to wear is minimal. And the mosquitoes dont really love me for some reason. Spiders do though :ugh:
