Howdy! I'm new to hammocks, but not to camping. I'd been thinking about trying a hammock for camping for awhile, because I never manage to get much sleep in a tent, and when I started planning a 2-week backpacking trip on the Colorado Trail this August, I figured now was as good a time as any to invest in some new gear.
Many thanks to this forum (and the YouTubers who frequent it) for all the great advice, and for pointing me in the direction of Dutchware Gear! I'm currently waiting for my shipment to come in. I ordered a netless hammock, Fronkey bugnet, and a bunch of cordage and hardware for suspension and ridgelines.
I also jumped in and got a Warbonnet Superfly for shelter, and next is the underquilt and topquilt. I have my eye on the Jarbridge River and the Loco Libre Jalapeno Pepper, but I'm open to suggestions!
Cheers,
IT
