I've hammock camped around Mt Rainier a dozen times, most beautiful place I've been too. I've yet to do the Wonderland Trail, but planning on it.

If you're going to be hiking for 8 days in mid-June, be prepared for snow and have good route finding skills, or a good GPS; trail is buried by snow in some places until late July (especially 5000ft+). But that's dependent on the weather between now and then, obviously.
Have large tree straps, probably 15' or longer.
Get a permit (if required) for where you'll be staying overnight; I was just up at Reflection Lakes last week and backcountry rangers came by my camp and asked to see my permit (yes, I had one).
You can cache food/supplies at certain locations: https://www.nps.gov/mora/planyourvis...d-and-fuel.htm
This is a good resource if you're looking for other Mt Rainier hikes: http://www.wta.org/go-outside/map
