I know it seems like a long time, but put in an order. You'll overthink it, make a couple of tweaks, and before you know it, you'll be hanging in your Dream! Great investment!

Very nice, i see some of your design features have been borrowed elsewhere

Really liked the vent I saw on the Chameleon and I like to look out. So we came up with something similar. I asked, and they delivered! I was actually on the kickstarter early, but needed the first hammock well before I could get a Chameleon. Very pleased with the customization available on my Dream hammocks! Once I received the first one and used it, I had to have one of my own!

Soul Embrace... This is a off the sparrows, but tell me how you like your dangerbird. Is it net only or both? I am having a hammock built for my son and have ordered a Raven, but considering upgrading to the dangerbird.

I love my dangerbird it is now my go to hammock. I started out with a grand trunk skeeter beeter pro then an ENO double nest then 3 different Dutch netless (nylonD, hexon and ayrgon), didn't like the ayrgon or the hexon and gave them to some friends. When I first order my dangerbird the plan was to use the nylonD with a fronky style bugnet as my warm weather hammock and the dangerbird as my winter hammock.
So with that said I ordered my dangerbird overcover only (http://www.dream-hammock.com/order_d...tml?order=4291) but after sleeping in my dangerbird this winter and finding out that they could add a net afterwards I sent it back in 2 weeks ago and got the bugnet added to it and now my DB is my only hammock I plan to use. I'm going to see my Dutch nylonD netless hammock and bugnet to a friend. I really like the hyperD material it's my favorite material of all the hammocks I've had.
Personally I'm not a fan of the raven, it's not bad but I like the design and looks of the dangerbird, thunderbird and sparrow better. I'm a strict head left feet right sleeper so I had no need to be able to switch sides. My opinion is if your son already knows which way he likes to lay then I would go with the dangerbird. if he don't then stick with the raven.
I have yet to use my DB since I've gotten it back from DH with the newly installed bug net, but I love the overcover in the winter. I did not go with the vented cover so I have to vent the it in the cold. I did add the extra zipper on one side so I can have the zippers meet in the center.
I got my DB in October of last year so haven't had it long but it is my favorite hammock ever and when it comes to when I have to replace it I will be ordering another DH.
