    Separate bugnet or integrated bugnet?

I have an 11 ft. netless Dutchware hammock and I am considering purchasing a fronkey style bottom entry bugnet but I'm wondering if it's a hassle to have it set up this way? Does the suspension for the underquilt get tangled? Is it a pain to always have another thing to set up? I figure it might just be easier to have a hammock that has an integrated bugnet? Thank you for any feedback !

First off, I will warn you that your question is likely to draw impassioned responses on either side of the issue. Personally, I like integrated, and if it's also removable, even better.

I prefer integrated and removable, as well, but I'll note that you already have a netless hammock so unless you're going to DIY an integrated removable net (achievable), then you're looking at another solution. Or buying a new hammock.

I only have one hammock with an integrated bug net, so I use a separate net when my daughter goes with me. If it's on the hammock, I don't take it off, so there's nothing extra to setup, not a con really. The main pros for an integrated net to me are: a) neater, b) lighter (although the zipper adds a permanent 30-40g on the hammock even when you don't need a net).

Thank you, great info, I appreciate it. And Disco Volante was one of my favorite Bungle albums.
