Wow, I missed the wood chimney. Great stuff right there.

Thanks for all that were there at the 6th Annual Sherpa Hang. It was a great time. I had to leave early but had a great time and a wonderful hike to Lakeside. Glad that moccasin didn't get me as I walked 2' next to it as I passed it. First time a moccasin didn't chase me.

This hang is getting better and better every year.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Enjoyed seeing all the pictures of the event! Glad y'all had a good time! Missed being there with y'all! My dad is hanging in there. Getting better but it is going to be a tough haul. He is strong I tell ya. 40+ days in ICU! The Surgery he had we are hoping will be a success. Still has 2 chest tubes but no air leaks. That is promising.

I saw Grinder is sporting a hat I have never seen him wear before! Looks good on ya!

That was a pretty good sized cottonmouth!

Rick, I'm glad to hear your Dad is improving! He's in our prayers. Missed you this weekend, but understand.

Grinder did look good in that hat. I was going to steal it from him if he fell asleep! LOL

I really like that kind of flora..Thanks for sharing!!

I noticed that someone was using a NatureHike Hammock. I am planning to buy one to my son but can't find any reviews. Do you know anything about the Hammock..Good or bad ??

We've got your hat, we had to hunt through pictures to figure out who forgot it. Just hadn't had time to post yet. Please PM me so I know where to send it.

Other items left behind: white cutting board, wooden spatula. Please PM me so I can get it back to you!

Cutting board was mine. Got it from Ricktorfla years ago IIRC and have others. Don't worry about returning it.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.

We will have to have a "J-E-M Hang " during the week soon so you can return it easier when we meet in the woods.

It certainly is a different type of hang for sure. Up North they have pulks in the snow. We go our long distances with Sherpas. Same concept in carrying a lot of gear, just different equipment to get it there.

Warm days and cool nights make it a wonderful trip. Hiking then cooling off in the stream is great during the day and at night getting warm and snuggly in the quilts to doze off with the owls and coyotes singing.... Priceless.
