Was at Zaleski Friday night. Ate at 5:00, in the Hammock at 6:30 Reading. Asleep by 8, after the Coyotes meet and greet. Up for two hours from 11:00 to 1:00 for Stargazing. Boy were they beautiful, no moon. Up at 3:45 for a pee and the moon was now up and bright. Owls hooting in the ravine. Back to sleep and up at 7:30, woken by some Turkey's Gobbling near by! I was hoping for bored but it didn't happen! Lol

Ha. I need to find a good book for next time. When out alone I don't even care to do a fire usually. I just need to slow down a little and try to save my legs, and knees especially. I took it too fast and it being a bit easier than most trails I ended up getting to camp way earlier than I expected. I'll be taking my 9 year old down there sometime this summer for sure and do 2 nights.

Sounds great. I try like hell to get a good sleep but usually on the first night out camping, car, our travel trailer, or backpacking I can never settle down enough to get a good sleep. I should just get up and do a little night hanging myself but it was so darn cold ha...
