Thank you everyone for the replays she is a camping fool and loves every aspect of it. I know I I'm one lucky dad to have her and that she will do this crazy stuff with me. It's all about getting the kids involved and teaching them the right way and to respect the woods. Thank you!

Blue sky days are easy to forget. Sometimes inclimate weather is a blessing.
I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.

I agree completely here in Washington if you don't do it in the rain you just don't do it. Lol we love the rain and it don't stop us from much we just dress for it and enjoy it!

Great trip. She'll remember. Unfortunately one day she'll wake up and be a teenager. BTDT. Somewhere in her twenties, she may decide fathers are OK again.

You look/sound like a good dad. It is so important to take the time to spend with your daughter and camping is a great way to do that.

It's true what they say about kids growing up fast and a good father, like you, uses that time wisely.

My oldest daughter is 16 now and is too into friends to camp with her old dad. We went out at least twice a year from ages four to twelve and have great memories that we talk about often. The times you share together become even more cherished over time.

God bless you and your family, may he watch over you and guide you all the days of your life.
