My oldest daughter is 16 now and is too into friends to camp with her old dad. We went out at least twice a year from ages four to twelve and have great memories that we talk about often. The times you share together become even more cherished over time.

God bless you and your family, may he watch over you and guide you all the days of your life.
Thank you and god bless you as well!

Excellent camp set up. Brings back good memories of tent camping with my kids years ago.

I would like you to enlighten us on exactly what woodcraftiness you used to get that fire started in those wet woods.

The fire was almost all my daughter I did help her mostly by getting some of the wood for her. I am a big advocator of vaseline and cotton balls and a flint rod and when the weather gets that wet we like to add a little dryer lent and wax fire starter. We just put the cotton ball on the top of the fire starter spark it and start adding lots of little stuff. Around here the best place to get dry or kinda dry tender is under heavy cover like fir tree getting all the small hair looking twigs.
