One last point on using dogbones to move the spreader bar outside. Don't use them any longer than necessary because from the bar they (the hammocks) will naturally gravitate back toward center, effectively reducing the "width" of the bar. Hope that makes sense. The dogbones shown in my earlier post are far longer than ideal, but this is what I had handy at the time. Fortunately, mrs sqid and I are just fine being so close.
