Just a heads-up that we're having our fifth annual group hang in Southern California in March.

We've got a couple of folks coming from NV. I figured there are places in AZ closer to us than Vegas so there might be some interest.

Thanks Willie! I'll look for the thread. I know one of our AZ attendees, Pedro, likes to hit yours as well. Do you guys do any raffle stuff? I'd be willing to throw a tarp or quilt in the mix. If I can join I would love to.

Last years raffle I would say was a success. Had one vendor on site last year those who attended showed off the camping toys. If all goes as planned Cave creek will be shown and if my memory serves me there should be vendors on site. Two from the Az hang inquired AZ/TX. Let's not forget the vittles this years theme as in the past is St. Patty's . What to do bike, hike, show/tell or just lounge around and chill.
I-10 straight to Lake Elsinore once there 20 minutes or so up to Falcon GC.
2017 raffle.
I’ve already begun gathering donation items to be raffled in effort to raise money for “Homes for our Troops”, an outstanding charity that builds homes for veterans with physical disabilities. I would encourage everybody to check them out online as they do some really stellar work. Tickets will be $5 each and available at the hang.

So, if I make this, it's going to be on the back of my motor scooter. How receptive will folks be with me not bringing a St. Paddy's potluck item. Are the take out places relatively close that I could substitute?

Nobody is going to hold it against you if you ride your bike all the way out here and don't have room for a few corned beef briskets!
In fact, if you'd like to give me a list I can pick up some supplies/food for you and you can pay me back. Not specifically for the potluck, just because I'm guessing you'll need regular food, too.
There's a super market down the hill from the site. Maybe thirty minutes away.

Yup, plenty of trees!
Though I am advising people who have stands to bring them because:
1) Who doesn't like seeing others' cool gear?
2) I'm anticipating a big turnout!
Please feel free to post over in the thread in the "West" section so I make sure not to leave anybody out of information on accident
I'm excited to see some of our Southwest folks at the hang!
