    DutchWare 11' X 70" or Warbonnet 11' X 61"

Hey guys, I've decided to add an 11' hammock to my camping set-up. I'm 6'2" tall and very broad in the shoulders. Based on this info would it make a difference to have a hammock that is slightly wider?

My current hammock is 10' by 67" (Kammock Roo). My research suggests an 11' hammock would be more comfortable for someone over 6' tall.

    Thanks!

I think you'll have better luck with something 11' or more.
    I'm 6'1" 195 and found a huge difference from 10 to 11.
I even made a 11.5 from hexon wide 1.6. That by far is my favorite hammock to date. You'll probably be good (hard to say for sure) with a 11 footer but I personally think you may like something larger...11.5 or 12.
I love wide hammocks. I find I can get a better lay and it makes for a good lounger.

Both cottage vendor options are great choices, so there's no wrong answer. If it were me, I would go with the Dutch hammock, if for no other reason than I love the look, feel, and performance of his Hexon fabric. I am your height, and I think an 11-foot widebody Hexon hammock would give you plenty of room and lots of comfort.

I'm similar height and width as you, and have not regretted getting the Dutch wide.

For broad shoulders, have you looked into a bridge hammock? They don't tighten in much on the shoulders.
