Hanging in Mississippi

Hello Everyone , I'm Bobby in Mississippi. I'm an old camper since my boy scout days. Been leaning toward hanging the last several years but just couldn't make a night of it . Pads just wasn't working , my old bones make me toss and turn too often. Been watching video's for a few years . Few weeks ago I made a diy Costco top and bottom and feel in love . My HG order is in the mail as I type. Think I'm finally off to solid Hanging ! Ty guys for all the info here at HammockForums and YouTube Video's . I would have never made it without it.

I assume from your name you from noxubee County?... I'm down in Petal, just east of Hattiesburg. Have been hanging for bout 6 years now and my boys are in scouts. We love it. I've made all my gear my self and love the Costco over and under. Welcome and if there is any pointers I can give a local sippian let me know.

Actually I'm in Winston county , the headwaters area of the Noxubee river. Our north trail head is at Choctaw lake near Ackerman , the south trail head is about 12 trail miles south in the Old Noxubee Hills community in Winston county.
