    Plastic Tubing by the foot

Anyone use Dutch's tubing yet for a gravity filter?

Is it clear or yellowish as it looks in the picture?

Furthermore, does anyone know if it's food safe rated?

I need 5' to finish off my gravity system with my sawyer squeeze. can't wait to sit down and have a snack while my water filters rather than squeezing lol...

    thanks,

Well I've been needing to get some to do my gravity filter as well and didn't even know Dutch offered it. I can't answer your question but I'd like to hear the answers people give.

I just received mine for the same project. Got it from Dutch. It's not yellow but not clear. It's more white, but still see through. As far as food safe I can't answer that. Love to see it when your done.

I think I remember Dutch saying somewhere it is food safe rated. Don't think he would have in the description of the hose saying it can be used for gravity filter system if it wasn't food safe. I use it and I know others that use the tuning from Dutch for their gravity fed water system.

I've been using it for a couple years. It's semi-opaque white. Not yellow. It's foodsafe... it came from a request to carry the tubing for use in gravity filter setups using Sawyer filters. Good stuff, it works great.

Dutch says it's flexible. Can anyone comment on its flexibility. The more flexible, the greater the packability. Can it be coiled up easily and compactly rather than stiffer tubing?

Very flexiable....here is mine rolled up and put in a sandwich bag. It's 4ft of tubing. I can get it smaller it unraveled when I put it in the bag

Here it the tube laying on a white sheet of paper and a black binder, hope it helps you get an idea of the color

Excellent thank you very much. Do you have a source for the on/off clip in your setup? I can't seem to find em
