Looking for a hike and overnight around Winhall Vt

Vacationing in Winhall Vt the week after Christmas and would like to do a hike and overnighter. Anyone familiar with the area any input would be appreciated. Also I posted this in the Hangout section of the forum for anyone interested in joining me. Thanks

I was checking out on the computer the AT going up Stratton Mt today. Also it looks like a nice loop going around Stratton pond which would be fun with the snowshoes
