That weight is pretty correct. I did make a custom one using .67 oz noseeum and that brought the weight to 20 oz.

Thanks Sounds rather reasonable ... my dog has to carry something after all, right?
On the description on your site, you mention it fits various lengths hammocks and that a 10' hammock is completely covered. I'm using a 11' hammock, will it still work?
Also it says that you only do US shipping, why no love for your long distant relatives across the pond?

Hey Latt. Absolutely. Let the pup carry his shelter, haha! Yes an 11 footer with a 110"+/- ridgeline will fit(the ends of the hammock will extend past the main body of the net but will be covered by the extensions that are used to seal around the suspension)
I'd be glad to work with you on shipping International. It's just costly in my experience. Feel free to message me if you have questions.

Can someone please post more pictures of the version 2 of this. I am very interested in seeing more of this in use. I have a the 11 foot BB-XLC and want to make sure it will work for me. Thank you!!
Best Regards,
Brad
Im sorry i have not gotten to a new review outlining the updates.
Honestly the only difference on v2 is the addition of the extended cinch netting on each end where the hammock passes through the net. Instead of a flush connection with a cinch opening, Rick added extensions that will reach further out from the net to cinch over the suspension attachments. This makes an easier cinching as it only cinches over the suspension and not over the end of the material of the hammock. I have circled the areas on this photo. The rest of the product remains the same. This adds versatility to cover most hammocks. Talk with Rick on the dimensions to ensure it will work with your hammock. Im sure you van work something out to make sure it will work! You will not regret buying the Pet Palace!

Hey tiger3,
As Gbrugs mentioned it was just a minor tweak, but a crucial one
The first version would fit an 11 footer(with a typical 83-85% ridgeline length) like your XLC, but the ends would hang out and possibly allow gaps where bugs could find their way in. I added extensions to the ends that add about 1.5 feet in length and keep the hammock completely enclosed and the ends have cord/cordlocks so you can cinch them down tight on your hammock end or suspension, so eliminating any gaps.
Here are a few photos including my 11 foot hammock inside. In the first photo the Olive Drab one center/right is one of the first ones without extensions just for comparison.
Hope this helps. Thanks for checking in.

Gbrugs and Rick,
Thank you for the additional pictures. This helps me very much. I think I am sold.
Rick, I sent you an e-mail via the web site. I had questions regarding shipping and some others. Not sure if you got it or have had time to respond.
Thanks again!!
Best Regards,
Brad
